Community Resource Room

A community school is a strategy to ensure every student, from every zip code, receives a quality education.

We recognize students can only be at their best when their home lives, and their neighborhoods, are safe and stable. As a community school, we work with parents and community partners to create the environment where kids can thrive.

Both Northside and Hamilton Elementary schools are implementing the La Crosse School District's Community School Initiative.

The community school model includes six pillars of focus. One of them is shared leadership.
